I'd be careful who you choose to share information with in the future. You may not be concerned with it, but he brought it up in order to use you.

I gave it to him because I wanted to see what he’d do with it.

All he did is prove I can’t trust him.

It was a misplaced trust it seems.

Trevor holds a lot of anger. It is possible he will try something, but he also considers himself something of a failure. So who is to say if he will follow through with anything.

[ Zack ignores most of that. He did what he did for a reason, and even though he’s pissed, he’s not sorry he did it. ]

There’s just one other thing I want to know. Did Lark say anything to Trevor about the shit he called you?

No. They exchanged subtle glances, I imagine whatever they were going for they were in on it together.

[ Zack takes a breath...and releases it. He's furious...but he's making himself stay calm. ]

Are things going okay with your current temp?

I have no complaints. Why do you ask?

[ There's a pause in which Zack debates how honest he actually wants to be. ]

I'm really frustrated right now. So I'm glad to hear at least something is going okay.

As I am still without the full extent of my powers I'd hardly call any of this okay. But it is no worse than before.

Sometimes ‘no worse than before’ is as good as it gets around here.

Which in itself is a problem. Shouldn't more effort be put in to things being better?
