[Hey, somebody's gotta look after the people around here. She's decent at it, so why not continue?]

I'll hold you to that.

But get some rest while you can, too. Who knows what this world's going to throw at us next.

[ The rovers were... big.
Last time he was on Macha, he became accustomed to ignoring them. He and others were put up in tents, and again he thought he would be placed in a tent while those that had been around longer would continue to be the ones who went in and out of the mobile spaces. For whatever reason this time was different, a little research giving him a number and leading him here.
It was polite to knock before entering at new locations, wasn't it? But that slips Red's mind when he lets himself in, not really knowing what to expect when he climbs on in.
Stranger danger, Zack. ]

[ It's only now that the idea of 'maybe I should've knocked first?' comes to mind, but it's already too late for that. He jumps a bit in the shoulders, giving back a greeting. ] H-hey.
[ ...And he's not going to hang around by the door. He's going to step properly in and then close the door behind him, turning back quickly around. ]
My name's Red. I'm supposed to be staying here? [ Yes, you are. ] I just got here today.

[ Make himself at home? ] Uh, sure.
[ Just... let him look around the space, walking a little more in but having no idea where to begin. Though, the line of hexagonal door-like indentations with steps below them at one wall does catch his attention, and he stares at them for a long second.
There's a place to start, by pointing to them and looking back to Zack. ]
Where do they lead to?

[ The information is actually helpful, allowing him to know the basics without fumbling and pointing and asking. Red shakes his head at the question though. ]
No, I'm fine. [ He grabs at one of the straps around his shoulders. ] I've only got this bag.
[ And not even his own bag. There's a beat, and then Red asks: ] What type of pets live here?

[ He remembers the baharis-- big four-legged creatures with thick armoured skin. Furball could be anything, and the description of a carnivorous plant instantly reminds him of the bell line.
Which, actually- ] How big is Smiles? Does it move around on its own? --Just in case I bump into it. And do you know if any of them are jumpy around new people? I don't want to worry them.

[ That's... not very big at all. Was that about the size of a diglett? If at that? ]
I thought Smiles would be bigger... but alright, I'll be careful. [ There's a beat, before he figures -- you know, he hasn't introduced his own company. ]
I probably won't let him out in here, but I have a partner with me too. [ He pats at his pocket, but doesn't reach in. ] He's resting right now, but his name's Charizard. He's about as big as you. [ Just a little shorter. ] People say he looks like a dragon, if you know what that is.

[ Red already knows of the previous dragon (but not the fate...!) ]
A charizard; his name is what he is. [ Beautiful naming skills. ] He's got a fire on his tail, so it wouldn't be safe to let him out in here. [ He gestures at the closed space. ] Not when there's too many of us around, that is. But he's an orange colour if you see him, and he's friendly. He won't hurt any of the other creatures.

Mm. They're born with fires on their tails -- they die if they go out. [ There's a certain weight when he shares that, but it's not hard to figure out why. ] You have to be careful when they're charmanders.
